Scenesbafeedfrnzy is an independent magazine about skiing and travelling in the Swiss Alps. We write clear, practical guides to Zermatt, Verbier, St. Moritz, Davos Klosters and the Jungfrau Ski Region, so you can choose the right resort, plan the journey and arrive knowing what to expect.

Our mission

Choosing a ski holiday should be exciting, not exhausting. We bring together terrain, snow reliability, atmosphere, transport and budget in one place, and we explain the trade-offs honestly. A resort that is perfect for an expert freerider may not suit a family with young children, and we say so.

How we write our guides

• Official sources first. We base figures such as piste length, lift altitude and ticket price ranges on information published by resorts, lift operators and the Swiss rail network.
• Indicative, not live. Prices, opening dates and piste kilometres change every season. We show rounded ranges and mark them clearly so you can verify them before you book.
• Editorial ratings. The ratings out of five in our comparison tables are our own opinions. They are not an official ranking.
• Safety matters. Our guides point you to the SLF avalanche bulletin, qualified mountain guides and Swiss Snowsports ski schools, and they do not replace local advice.
